Meet Your Guide - Bernie Egan
One of the most well known and accomplished guides in the area, Bernie Egan has been fishing the Prince Rupert region for over 25 years with a list of qualifications that is unparalleled.
He was recently written up in Western Outdoor Magazine as one of the top 5 guides on the West Coast
Bernie has over 10,000 hours on the water and is very active in the sport fishing industry. He has participated in various fisheries studies and currently serves as a director of the local Chatham Sound Charter Boat Association, and sits on the Community Fisheries Development Center and the Sport Fishing Advisory boards. In addition to Bernie's industry involvement, he has been recognized and published in numerous outdoor magazines.
You will not find a more personable and knowledgeable person to be your host. But mostly, Bernie is a true fisherman who loves to be out on the water with a net in his hand. Be sure to ask Bernie about his world record snapper, the six foot shark that chomped off his boot, and the orca that stole a Chinook from his net at the side of the boat.
